2025 Open Salon Schedule

In the open salon, you can see and touch our carefully selected products. The products are on display, so you can enjoy shopping while looking at what catches your eye. We have a wide selection of items, such as wool blankets, linen towels, , newly arrived Burleigh pottery, and German wooden toys, that make perfect gifts for loved ones or souvenirs to take home, so please feel free to stop by.

At the tea party, you can spend a special time enjoying delicious tea while chatting and shopping at the same time. Each event is a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter and warmth, and participants enjoy exchanging tips and information about life in Belgium. At the tea party, we mainly chat in Japanese. At the open salon, of course, shopping is available in English and French as well.

Our events require a reservation, so please let us know using the reservation form below . Small children are also welcome! If you are bringing children, please let us know in advance so we can prepare the venue safely.

Our salon is located in Waterloo, Belgium, a famous historic battlefield where Napoleon is said to have fought.

If you have a car, you can park on the street for free. It is about a 12-minute walk from Waterloo Railway Station.

Payment on the day can be made by bank contact or credit card.

• Wataro is a Japanese restaurant (4 minutes by car from the salon) that serves reasonably priced Chirashi sushi during lunchtime. Please check opening hours.

• DISH is a stylish and delicious cafe run by an Irish owner. It's located on the grounds of a Carrefour hypermarket, so parking is convenient. They also serve delicious Irish tea. Please check opening hours and other details.

• Waterloo Beer Brewery and restaurant Brasserie de Waterloo (10 minutes by car from the salon) where you can buy beer. If the weather is nice, lunch on the spacious terrace is the best.

• If you want to try Lebanese food in a relaxed atmosphere, we recommend Be To Be - Lebanese Street Food (a 2-minute drive from Salon).

• ENISHI by TOSHIRO , a popular restaurant created by Japanese chef Mr. Fujii, is located in Waterloo. On Fridays, when our opening salon is held, the restaurant will be open for lunch. Enjoy an elegant and special lunchtime with refined cuisine.

• If you like Poke bowls, which are currently a big hit in Belgium, then TADAO Poke Bar (6 minutes by car from the salon)

• If you like Indian food, the shop is filled with the scent of incense, creating a magical atmosphere. India Mala ASBL (4 minutes by car from the salon) is a great place to shop for Indian goods and ingredients. There is no restaurant.

• If you live in an area where there aren't many Asian food stores, we recommend Asia Express Waterloo. They sell Chinese, Indian, Korean, and Japanese ingredients. They also have a wide selection of frozen foods, so don't forget to take an insulated bag. (It's a 4-minute drive from the salon.)
